Limited Company
If your business is operating as a Limited Company, your responsibilities as a director will include preparing Annual Accounts that must be made available to the company’s members and filed with Companies House as well as filing an annual Corporation Tax Return with HMRC. Each a Director and Shareholder will probably also have to file an annual Self-assessment Tax Return to report any salary and dividends drawn from the company. Corporation Tax is payable on any profits the company makes.
