Limited Liability Partnership
If your business is operating as a LLP, your responsibilities as a Designated Member will include preparing Annual Accounts that must be made available to the company’s members and filed with Companies House as well as filing an annual Partnership Tax Return with HMRC. Each partner must also file a Self-Assessment Tax Return which must include Partnership Pages, reporting the profit share. Any profits the business makes are allocated amongst the partners and all partners and then individually assessed as to the amounts of Tax and National Insurance due.
